First, the profile. Furniture usually uses half-moon 8-10 mm: it bends evenly and holds seat shape. Round and flat profiles suit décor and frames.
Second, density. The tighter the weave, the stronger and more premium the piece looks. Check for gaps and misalignment.
Third, colour. Good rattan is coloured through the fibre, not just on the surface. Our Tobacco, Woody, Brown, Graphite and Choco palette echoes natural wood tones.
